Greenskin Weapons (6th ed.)

Scenario table

by Avian

To use this scenario table both players secretly decide whether to Advance, Dig In, Raid or Ambush. When both players have decided cross reference the choices to find the scenario to play. Most scenarios can be found in the rulebook, the rest (Harassment, Chance Encounter and Relief Force) are located on this website.

Advance vs. Advance - Meeting Engagement

Advance vs. Dig In - Pitched Battle
The player electing to Dig In may add +1 to the roll to decide deployment zones, in addition to any other bonuses. The player electing to Advance may add +1 to the roll to see who goes first, in addition to any other bonuses.

Advance vs. Raid - Harassment, raider attacking

Advance vs. Ambush - Ambush, ambusher attacking

Dig In vs. Dig In - Pitched battle with Preliminary bombardment
Both sides may fire a preliminary bombardment after deployment is finished but before either player takes his first turn. Both players roll a die, the high roller may choose to fire first or second. The preliminary bombardment is effectively an additional shooting phase, but no Panic tests are taken. After both players have resolved their preliminary bombardment the game proceeds with the roll for the first turn, as normal.

Dig In vs. Raid - Flank Attack, raider attacking
The player electing to Dig In may add +1 to the roll to decide deployment zones, in addition to any other bonuses.

Dig In vs. Ambush - Pitched battle
The player choosing to Dig In chooses deployment zones, but must deploy his entire army (apart from Scouts) first. Neither player gets a bonus to see who goes first.

Raid vs. Raid - Chance Encounter

Raid vs. Ambush - Relief Force, ambusher attacking

Ambush vs. Ambush - Pitched battle with Hidden setup
After rolling for deployment zones both players make a sketch of the battlefield and draw in where they wish to place their units (inside the normal deployment zones). Scouting units may be held back and deployed as per the normal rules for Scouting units. After both players have finished drawing they show their sketches to each other and the armies are deployed according to the sketches as accurately as possible. The game then proceeds with the roll for the first turn, as normal.
